Despite staying in Windsor, Kate is quick to bring up George, Charlotte, and Louis from school.

While other members of the Royal Family went to Balmoral over concerns for the Queen's health, Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, stayed in Windsor with her and William's children on their first full day of school.

According to Kensington Palace, the Duchess of Cambridge will spend the day with her children at their new school in Windsor, where they will attend classes for the first time.

Prince William, the king's grandson, along with Prince Charles, the heir to the throne, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, and Prince Andrew have apparently all rushed to Balmoral in response to reports of the queen's health deteriorating.

Reports say that Prince Harry and Meghan have also hurried to Balmoral, skipping a charity event they were scheduled to attend.

While the Queen is "comfortable," physicians are "concerned," according to a statement released by Buckingham Palace today. The Queen, 96, is known to have continuing mobility concerns.

A statement from Kensington Palace read, "The Duchess of Cambridge has remained in Windsor as Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis are on their first full day at their new school."

Following additional review this morning, the Queen's doctors are concerned about Her Majesty's health and have recommended she remain under medical observation, according to a statement released by Buckingham Palace at roughly 12.30 p.m.

The Queen is still at Balmoral and is said to be very relaxed there.

On September 3, Kate and William settled at their new home, Adelaide Cottage, in Windsor.

In preparation for the start of the new school year, they relocated to the four-bedroom cottage in Ascot.

Lambrook School in Berkshire, which costs £7,000 per term, is only nine miles from their new house.

The annual upkeep for the 52-acre campus would set the pair back £50,000.

The three royal children, George (age 9), Louis (age 4), and Charlotte (year 7), all transferred from St. Thomas's School in Battersea to the new school this week.

They started class today, so it's their first full day there.

The Cambridge children appeared relaxed and confident in photos taken upon their arrival for a 90-minute orientation event for new students and their families.

The Daily Mail quotes a person close to the pair as saying: "They were overjoyed when they stepped out the car.

"It was a very touching sight. There was not a single nerve to be found.

"We were all chilling out like nothing had ever happened. Both of them are great young people."

Yesterday morning, Prince William and Duchess Kate were photographed on their way to school with their children.

To his children, William called "all the gang" as he led them up the steps of the grand white country estate he had built in the early 19th century.

Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis have all expressed their enthusiasm for the new beginning.
