Ronaldo sends message amid Manchester United uncertainty | CTB NEWS

In the midst of rumors over his future at Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo has issued a statement.

Despite their being only a week left in the transfer window, rumors persist that the Manchester United superstar will be leaving Old Trafford.
With less than a week remaining until the end of the transfer window, Cristiano Ronaldo has finally spoken out on social media after remaining silent for two weeks.

The transfer season closes on September 1, so time is running out for the Manchester United superstar to make a move away from Old Trafford. On Thursday night, Ronaldo wrote a brief message to his 102 million Twitter followers, suggesting that the forward was unfazed by the speculation surrounding his future.

The forward was pictured practicing on his shot in practice with the words "Keep working and focused" written below the image. This is the first time the Portuguese has posted on his profile in over two weeks, and it's also his first interaction with the team since he was benched for last week's victory over Liverpool.

Ronaldo was demoted to a substitute's position in the 2-1 triumph at Old Trafford, and manager Erik ten Hag was able to celebrate his first victory despite the result.

The Red Devils are looking to win consecutive games for the first time since February on Saturday when they go to Southampton, and it remains to be seen if he will be able to regain his starting spot. After Ronaldo and his longtime agent, Jorge Mendes, expressed their intention to leave United before the club's pre-season tour began in early July, rumors have circulated that he will be leaving the club before the transfer deadline next week.

Although he has just been back at United for a year, the 37-year-old is eager to get back into Champions League action this year despite United's participation in the Europa League.
