Johnny Depp's followers now include Amber Heard's daughter, Oonagh Paige.

Even after Johnny Depp's defamation trial ended a few months ago, Amber Heard continued to be a media darling. The jury ruled that Depp had defamed Heard via his attorney and gave him $10 million (£8 million) in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages, while Heard was awarded $2 million.

Heard, however, had her first child, a girl, via surrogate in April of 2021, a full year before the trial began. Heard's mother's maiden name was used for the child's name in honor of her memory, and the family quietly embraced her. The infant is now known as Oonagh Paige Heard. Amber claims she is the child's "mom and dad" since the day she was born.

Amber seemed to have moved on after the nasty dispute. However, ever since the transcriptions of court records were made public, Johnny's supporters have been attempting to rehabilitate his image. Recent events include including Oonagh in this feud.

On Twitter, a Depp supporter believed that Depp had lied about Oonagh being his daughter. A child is rented or borrowed for her Instagram photos, and the stroller is only a gimmick to make people feel bad for her. "You can't even identify the baby's face in each of the several pictures," he said.

As Amber said in her email announcing the birth of her daughter, "I'm so excited to share this news with you. I made the choice to start a family about four years ago. What I really wanted was the freedom to choose my own conditions. For the first time, I've realized how revolutionary it is for women to consider one of the cornerstones of our fates in this way. I'd like to see a time when it's considered standard practice for people to not need a ring to purchase a house with a corresponding "crib."

For as much as she has tried to keep her personal life under wraps, she knows she must now discuss her daughter. "There is a piece of me that wants to insist that the details of my personal life are nobody else's concern. To be fair, I understand that it is inherent to my position that I handle matters like this. On April 8, 2021, my daughter entered the world. Oonagh Paige Heard is her name. She marks the start of the second half of my life.
