Florence Pugh says her sheer Valentino dress 'irritated' people | CTB NEWS

Florence Pugh says her sheer Valentino dress 'irritated' people.
Florence Pugh again addressed the criticism she experienced over her sheer pink Valentino gown, saying "it aggravated [people] that [she] felt comfortable" with her breasts.

The Lady Macbeth actor, 26, drew fire for wearing a neon pink sheer tulle dress to Valentino's haute couture show in Rome. She later posted images of herself in the outfit to Instagram, captioning them "Technically they're covered."

Pugh addressed the response in a post a day later, saying it was "interesting to observe and witness just how easy it is for guys to absolutely demolish a woman's body, publicly, proudly, for everyone to see".

"Many of you wanted to tell me how disappointed you were with my'small tits' or how I should be embarrassed by my'flat chest,'" she added.I've lived a long time in my body. I'm comfortable with my breast size. .. Why fear breasts? Small? Large? Left? right? Really? Yes? What's so scary?

Pugh has now commented on the criticism she received in an interview with Harper's Bazaar. She said she and designer Pierpaolo Piccioli removed the dress's lining to make it fully transparent.

Pugh remarked, "I was comfortable with my little breasts." Showing them I was comfortable irritated them.

Pugh was applauded for how she handled the trolls, but she told the site that the response to her gown was "alarming."

She said, "Their agitation was worrisome." "They were upset because I was confident, so they said they wouldn't w**k over me.""Don't!"

Pugh also said her grandma asked her about her breasts when she visited.

According to Pugh, her grandma was more concerned with the gown's beauty than its sheerness.

"I went to see my grandmother, and she asked, 'What's with your nipples?'" Pugh then showed her grandma photos of the outfit. "She gasped," she said. The clothing was lovely.

Pugh's grandmother's response isn't surprising given the actor's original response to the criticism, in which she said she was "really glad" to have grown up "in a household with very strong, powerful, curvaceous women" where she was "taught to find power in the creases of our bodies." Be outspoken about being comfortable.

Grow. Respect them. Respect bods. Respect females. Respect humans "I guarantee life will become easier," she said.

Pugh told Harper's Bazaar that she and Zach Braff broke up early this year. The former couple, who made headlines due to their 21-year age gap, opted to divorce quietly, according to the Don't Worry Darling star.

"We've been trying to separate without the world knowing since everyone has an opinion," she stated. We thought this would prevent millions of people from telling us they're delighted we're apart. We did that. "
